KKF Architecture is a Napa Valley, California based firm with projects primarily located throughout the Bay Area. We believe that architecture should be highly responsive to the needs of its users, distinctive in its approach to shaping space, and site specific. Each project is therefore unique and approached with an open mind. Significant value is placed on the collaborative relationships we hold with our clients and build teams. Each project we take on is formed by these beliefs, paired with the desire to translate client aspirations into successful designs that endure.

Principal Architect

Kelli Franz is a California native whose passion for fine art and engineering led her to pursue architecture over 20 years ago.  Kelli brings a balanced approach to high design, giving appropriate attention to project budgets and timelines to create thoughtfully executed architectural work. Kelli holds a Bachelor of Architecture from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.  As an undergraduate, she also studied at the Washington-Alexandria Architecture Center (an extension of the Virginia Tech School of Architecture and Design). After working for architecture firms in San Francisco, Virginia, and Southern California she co-founded the architecture firm atelier KS in 2009. KKF Architecture was launched in 2021 and is a rebranded continuation of atelier KS under a single principal architect.
